ADCU members took part in the May Day Workers' Parade in London, joining thousands of workers, trade unionists and campaigners from across sectors and around the world to mark International Workers' Day.

The event brought together workers and unions to stand in solidarity and call for stronger protections, fair pay, safe working conditions and respect in the workplace.

Representing app drivers and couriers across the UK, ADCU highlighted the challenges facing workers in the platform economy, including the growing impact of artificial intelligence, automation and algorithmic management on jobs, livelihoods and earnings.

The march reflected the shared struggles faced by workers across different industries and reinforced the importance of collective action to protect workers' rights and ensure that technological change benefits people rather than undermining their livelihoods.

ADCU continues to stand alongside the wider trade union movement, campaigning for fair treatment, decent work and stronger protections for app drivers and couriers.
